Press Release #4 (8 November, 2006)

The Flint Hills Soccer Club Lady Cats U-14 went (2-1-1) and placed third in the U14 Division of the Toyota Heritage Invitational Tournament in Olathe on November 4-5, 2006.
The FHSC Lady Cats U-14 won their first game against the Blue Valley Storm Revolution 1-0. Lindsy Ekart scored the lone goal for the Lady Cats with an assist from Annissa Durar. The shutout was credited to goal keepers Jackie Gonzalez and Chloe Weston.

In game two, the FHSC Lady Cats U-14 defeated the Kansas City Strikers Gold 1-0. Erin Eckels scored the lone goal for the Lady Cats from a penalty kick. The shutout was credited to goal keepers Gonzalez and Weston.

In game three, the FHSC Lady Cats U-14 tied the Kansas City United Attack 0-0. The shutout was credited to goal keeper Gonzalez. The FHSC Lady Cats U-14 won their pool and advanced to the semifinal/final rounds of the tourney.

In the semi-final game, the FHSC Lady Cats U-14 tied the Shawnee Elite Fusion 1-1 during regulation time. Chinazo Ehie scored the lone goal for the Lady Cats. The score remained a 1-1 tie after two overtime periods. The tie was not broken in the first set of penalty kicks shoot out during which Eckels, Gabby Gadson, and Ekart scored for the Lady Cats. The Lady Cats lost in the second set of penalty kicks shoot out during which Emily Lowman scored for the Lady Cats.

The FHSC Lady Cats U-14 finished their Fall -2006 season with an overall record of (9-11-3)
