FHSC Lady Cats U-13 places second in the U-13 B division and FHSC Lady Cats U-14 places third in the U14 division of the Kansas Cup All Girls Soccer Tournament in Lawrence
The Flint Hills Soccer Club Lady Cats U-13 team went (2-2) and placed second in the U-13B Division of the Kansas Cup All Girls Soccer Tournament in Lawrence on September 16-17, 2006.
The FHSC Lady Cats U-13 won their first game against the Shawnee Elite Flash 2-0. Kelly Thomson and Faith Herrera each scored one goal for the Lady Cats with assists from Amy Stockton and Onyeka Ehie. The shutout was credited to goal keeper Chloe Weston.
In game two, the FHSC Lady Cats U-13 lost to the Lincoln (NE) LSC Hot Shots 1-0.
In game three, the FHSC Lady Cats U-13 blanked the Blue Valley Soccer Club Stars Courage 5-0. Amy Stockton scored two goals for the Lady Cats. Bree Busch, Annissa Durar, and Thomson each added one goal for the Lady Cats. The assists were credited to Thomson, Sarah Tatarko, Onyeka Ehie, Sarah Dodge, and Willie Stockton. The second shutout in the tourney was credited to goal keeper Chloe Weston.
In the championship game, the FHSC Lady Cats U-13 lost to the LSC Hot Shots 2-1. Thomson scored the lone goal for the Lady Cats with an assist from Amy Stockton.
The Flint Hills Soccer Club Lady Cats U-14 went (1-2-1) and placed third in the U14 Division of the Kansas Cup All Girls Soccer Tournament in Lawrence on September 16-17, 2006.
The FHSC Lady Cats U-14 tied their first game against the Blue Valley storm 2-2. Chinazo Ehie and Susie Jimenez each scored one goal for the Lady Cats. The assists were credited to Arianna Levin and Chinazo Ehie.
In game two, the FHSC Lady Cats U-14 defeated the Lawrence Kaw Valley Force 1-0. Kelsey Estep scored the lone goal for the Lady Cats with an assist from Gabby Gadson. The shutout was credited to goal keepers Jackie Gonzalez and Erin Hickman.
In game three, the FHSC Lady Cats U-14 lost to the Wichita River City Avalanche 4-0.
In the semi-final game, the FHSC Lady Cats U-14 tied the Omaha (NE) Phoenix Futbol Club Santiago 1-1 during regulation time. Jimenez scored the lone goal for the Lady Cats with an assist from Chinazo Ehie. The FHSC Lady Cats U-14 lost to the PFC Santiago 2-1 in a penalty kick shoot out following the tie in regulation time.
