FHSC Lady Cats U-13 and U-14 compete in Salina
The Flint Hills Soccer Club 13-and-under and 14-and-under Lady Cats soccer teams continued their Fall-2007 Wildcat League with a pair of games each in Salina.
In their first game, the FHSC Lady Cats U-13 blanked the U-14 Salina Rush 4-0. Tarian Reeves and Erika Goodwin each scored two goals for the U-13 Lady Cats with assists from Goodwin, Emily Heikkinen, Sarah Dodge, and Shelby Hill. Goal keeper Kristen Thompson was credited with the shutout.
In their second game, the FHSC Lady Cats U-13 lost to the U-14 Hays Storm 1-2. Goodwin scored the lone goal for the U-13 Lady Cats with an assist from Wendy Zimmerman.
In their first game, the FHSC Lady Cats U-14 defeated the Hays Storm 4-1. Reeves, Sarah Tatarko, Katroya Jones, and Onyeka Ehie each scored one goal for the U-14 Lady Cats with assists from Annissa Durar, Tegyn Perkin, Ehie, and Tatarko. Goal keeper Chloe Weston made three saves during the game.
In their second game, the FHSC Lady Cats U-14 defeated the McPherson Strikers 6-2. Reeves and Durar each scored two goals. Ehie and Erin Elliot each added one goal for the U-14 Lady Cats. The assists were credited to Faith Herrera, Durar, Tatarko, Hill, Raquel Borck and Paige Zafran.
