The Flint Hills Soccer Club 11-and-under Lady Cats went 1-2 in the Fall 2003 Governor’s Cup  Soccer Tournament at Topeka.

In the first game on Saturday, the Lady Cats defeated the Lee Summit Lightning 3-0.  Susie Jimenez scored two goals and Kylie Rupe added one goal for the Manhattan team.  Annissa Durar contributed two assists and Alexa Fritz picked up an assist.  Chinazo Ehie, Bethany Anderson, and Katie Taylor earned the shutout in goal

In the second game on Saturday, the Lady Cats lost to the Wichita Rockets 0-1. 

In the third game on Sunday, the Lady Cats lost to the Topeka Prodigy Wildfire 0-1. 

The Lady Cats who are now 9-9-3 for the season will return to action this weekend by playing against the FHSC Comets on Saturday, October 11 at 6:30 PM at KSU Memorial Stadium and on Sunday, October 12 against the Salina Shooters at 1:30 PM at Anneberg Park.
