Lady Cats Purple and White teams kick off their Spring-2005 Wildcat League Soccer Season
The Lady Cats Purple tied the McPherson Strikers 1-1. Annissa Durar scored the lone goal for the Lady Cats with
an assist from Lindsy Ekart. Sandra Okot-Kotber had seven saves in goal including a blocked penalty kick.
The Lady Cats White went 1-2 during the weekend. The Lady Cats White lost their first game to the Salina
Shooters 3-1 Susie Jimenez scored the lone goal for the Lady Cats with an assist from Katy Van Nevel. In the
second game, Lady Cats White lost to the McPherson Strikers 5-1. Raychel Gadson scored the lone goal for the Lady
Cats with an assist from Jimenez. In the third game, the Lady Cats White defeated the U-11 Manhattan Twisters 8-0.
Jimenez, Gadson, and Sophia Tolentino each scored twice for the Lady Cats. Amy Stockton and Bree Busch each added a
goal to the Lady Cats. Abby Buser, Christina Grogan, Ashley Vander Pol, Claire Tolentino, Van Nevel and Kelly Thomson (3)
were credited with the assists. The shutout was credited to goal keepers Jackie Gonzalez and Barbara Korten.
