The Flint Hills Soccer Club 11-and-under Lady Cats, went 2-1-1 in league games in Manhattan and Topeka during the last few days.

 

On Saturday in Wildcat League game in Manhattan , the Lady Cats defeated the U-12 Shooting Stars 3-0.  Kylie Rupe scored twice and Faith Herrera added one goal for the Lady Cats.  Susie Jimenez, Herrera, and Annissa Durar were credited with the assists. Bethany Anderson, Rachel Lease, and Chinazo Ehie shared the goal keeping duties during the game and were credited with the shutout.

 

On Sunday in Topeka , the Lady Cats first tied the U-11 Topeka select Sky 0-0.  Anderson played Goal Keeper and was credited with the shutout. In the second game, the Lady Cats lost to the U-11 Topeka Prodigy Wildfire 2-1.  Emily Lowman scored the lone goal for the Lady Cats with an assist from Jimenez.

 

On Monday in Wildcat League game in Manhattan , the Lady Cats defeated the U-11 Comets 3-0.  Rupe scored from a penalty kick.  Sara Allen and Emily Lowman each added one goal with assists from Onyeka Ehie and Jimenez.  Anderson played goal keeper and was credited with the shutout.

 

 

The Lady Cats, who are now 3-1-1 for the season will play the U-11 Salina Shooters next Saturday, April 10 at 9:00 AM at Anneberg Park .
