The Flint Hills Soccer Club 12-and-under Lady Cats Purple and White teams competed in the Spring-2005 Wildcat League season last
weekend in Manhattan.
The Lady Cats Purple went 1-0-1 and remained undefeated in the Spring-2005 season. In the first game, Lady Cats Purple tied the U-13
Wichita Flash 1-1. Kylie Rupe scored the lone goal for the Lady with an assist from Susie Jimenez. In their second game, Lady Cats
Purple defeated the U-14 Hays storm 4-0. Rupe scored from a penalty kick. Annissa Durar, Jimenez, and Sandra Okot-Kotber each added
one goal for the Lady Cast with assists from Lindsy Ekart, Sarah Tatarko, and Jessica McHenry. The shutout was credited to goal
keepers Okot-Kotber and Jackie Gonzalez.
The Lady Cats Purple team is now with an overall record of (3-0-2) will travel to Hutchinson next weekend to compete in the Club
Azzurri Tournament.
The Lady Cats White defeated the U-12 Salina Shooters 1-0. Jimenez scored the lone goal for the Lady with an assist from Katie Brantl.
The shutout was credited to goal keepers Gonzalez and Erin Hickman. The Lady Cats White team is now with an overall record of (3-4).
