Lady Cats Purple Compete in the Eighth Annual Kickoff Classic Soccer Tournament
The Flint Hills Soccer Club 13-and-under Lady Cats Purple team went 0-1-2 in the U-13 Girls Division of
the eighth annual kickoff classic Soccer Tournament in Manhattan over the weekend.
In the first game, the Lady Cats Purple tied the Kansas City Blue Valley storm 1-1. Susie Jimenez
scored the lone goal for the Lady Cats with an assist from Kylie Rupe. Jackie Gonzalez and Sandra Okot-Kotber
played goal keepers during the game and were credited with five saves each.
In game two, the Lady Cats lost to the Kansas City Legacy 3-0.
In game three, the Lady Cats Purple tied the Topeka Prodigy Pegasus 2-2. Jimenez and Arianna Levin each
scored one goal for the Manhattan team with assists from Kelly Thomson and Annissa Durar.
