Lady Cats Purple and Lady Cats White Placed Third in the Spring 2005 Governor’s Cup Invitational Soccer Tournament at Topeka
The Flint Hills Soccer Club 12-and-under Lady Cats Purple went 2-1-1 and placed third in the U-13 B division of the Spring 2005 Governor’s Cup Invitational Soccer Tournament in Topeka.
The Lady Cats Purple won their first game against the U-13 Kansas City Cosmos 1-0. Susie Jimenez scored the lone goal for the Lady Cats with an assist from Sandra Okot-Kotber. The shutout was credited to goal keeper Jackie Gonzalez.
In game two, the Lady Cats Purple tied the U-13 Blue Valley Stars Celtic 3-3. Arianna Levin scored twice and Jimenez added one goal for the Lady Cats with assists from Kylie Rupe, Annissa Durar, and Lindsy Ekart.
In game three, the Lady Cats Purple won their pool by defeating the U-13 Topeka Ballistics 1-0. Jimenez scored the lone goal for the Lady Cats with an assist from Chinazo Ehie. The shutout was credited to goal keepers Gonzalez and Okot-Kotber.
In the semi-final game, the Lady Cats Purple lost to the Salina Boomers 3-1. Ekart scored the lone goal for the Lady Cats with an assist from Jimenez.
The Lady Cat Purple finished their Spring 2005 season with an overall record of (10-6-5).

In game two, the Lady Cats White defeated the Topeka Select Sky 4-1. Jimenez scored the four goals for the Lady Cats with assists from Amy Stockton, Van Nevel, Claire Tolentino, and Jackie Gonzalez.
The Lady Cat White finished their Spring 2005 season with an overall record of (9-7-1).
