The Flint Hills Soccer Club 12-and-under Lady Cats Purple and White teams each lost one game and won one game over the weekend in Wildcat League competition in Manhattan over the weekend.

On Saturday, the Lady Cats Purple lost to the Salina Boomers 3-0.  However, on Sunday, the Lady Cats Purple defeated the Wichita Flash 2-1.  Annissa Durar and Lindsy Ekart each scored one goal for the Lady Cats with assists from Arianna Levin and Onyeka Ehie.  The Lady Cats Purple team is now 6-1-1 for the season.

On Saturday, the Lady Cats White lost to the Salina Shooters 7-0.  However, on Sunday, the Lady Cats White defeated the Salina NRG 5-0.  Susie Jimenez scored twice for the Lady Cats.  Katy Van Nevel, Brittany Brush, and Bree Busch each added a goal to the Lady Cats.  Van Nevel, Raychel Gadson, Barbara Korten, Abby Buser, and Jimenez were credited with the assists.  The shutout was credited to goal keepers Jackie Gonzalez and Erin Hickman and the defense line of Amy Stockton, Theresa Jardine, Kaeli Wefald, Ashley Vander Pol, and Sophia Tolentino.  The Lady Cats White team is now 1-1 for the season.

The Lady Cats Purple and White teams will compete in the Club Azzurri Fall Classic Soccer Tournament in Hutchinson next weekend.
